A giant step...
  'that's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind'.
This week Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon died. His words as he stepped onto the moon's surface have become iconic - illustrating the power of a single action when multiplied by the gaze of the world.
Unlimited is that kind of step too. Each artist taking part in the Unlimited Festival has taken their small step forward - and the culmination is extraordinary. Never before has so much quality work been gathered together in such circumstances. The world truly is watching.

PUSH ME continues to grow and weave its way through this narrative too - with 9 short films up in The Space, and another 15 shot, edited and ready to go our leaps have become huge and about to become enormous. During the 9 days of the festival we will be shooting to create a 30 minute documentary - so if you happen to be around - do give our cameras a wave!

Jez Colborne presents: Irresistible

Noisy, dramatic and spectacular, Irresistible is a unique event designed for both the rural beauty of The Cow & Calf and for the urban heart of London.
Driven by a life-long fascination with warning sirens, Jez Colborne can hear music where most of us hear noise. He is quite simply an irresistible force of nature.
He is a multi-talented composer, musician and performer. He has drawn upon his travels in the UK, USA and China and worked in collaboration with Mind the Gap to create something truly irresistible.

Stumble danceCircus presents: Box of Frogs
What is colourful character or delusional insanity? What is grand achievement or pointless obsession? Stumble will veer with absolute absorption in a fervent love of all things Circus (until the point at which we gets distracted).
Box of Frogs is a circus show with a difference. 5 acrobats and 2 musicians play with the audience’s expectations from their own perspective of mental ill health and performance, against a back drop of filmic illusions.
In 2011 Stumble continued the journey they started with Bipolar Ringmaster (without a Circus) with a spectacular ensemble, ‘Box of Frogs.’

Simon Mckeown presents: Motion Disabled Unlimited

Motion Disabled: Unlimited is the 2012 edition of Simon Mckeown’s internationally exhibited exhibition Motion Disabled.
The 2012 impression of the work studies the body and movement of some of the UK’s most famous paralympians and takes the work into new and exciting directions including large scale inflatable sculpture and art led smart phone application.
We are given the chance to watch and study the physicality and movement of the modern day disabled athlete, the paralympian. Imagine taking time to look at the motion of those who move differently. What if you were invited to find the beauty, the exotic and the normal within their movements and physical form?
A large inflatable sculpture form the core part of the exhibition. In addition a series of motion capture based work featuring the paralympians will be shown, featuring shot putting, basketball, and much more and will be shown in galleries and outdoor.
Catch it in London in Jubilee Gardens, by the London Eye from 29th August - 2nd Sept, and then directly outside the Southbank on 3rd and 4th.
McKeown who was named DaDaFest International Artist of Year in 2010 takes his work into the large scale with Motion Disabled Unlimited.
